Finally, Lara Dutta’s long cherished dream of playing an action-packed role is going to come true as she bags in a role in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 2’. Though not much is being revealed about Lara’s role in the film,
she is supposedly playing femme fatale in the flick for which she had to learn some martial arts. Lara’ role is not the one played by Isha Koppikar, but the part has been specially written for her.

Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Rampal have already been finalized for the sequel and with Lara joining in the cast, The two former Miss India’s (Lara, Miss Universe and Priyanka, Miss World) will be seen together in the flick after a long gap since they first debuted in Andaaz opposite Akshay Kumar in 2003.

Lara Dutta is the new face join in Farhan Akhtar’s Remake Don of Don 2. The actress has been cast with Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Rampal all three who have been retained from its prequel Don. Don 2 is release on this year December end.

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan are tight-lipped about the actress’s joining to the team, but reports says that the actress has been roped in to play a femme fatale in the movie.

A source said, “Lara’s not replacing Eesha Koppikhar. She’s a completely new addition to the cast with an entirely new part written for her. But yes, the role will require Lara to learn some form of martial arts and she is very kicked about doing an action role.”

It’s interesting that Miss India’s Miss Universe Lara Dutta and Miss World Priyanka Chopra as both actresses debuted in Andaaz opposite Akshay Kumar in 2003 and then after both scene in this movie.
